In the meantime, here’s a bit about this Oregon premiere.
Flash back to 1942 and savor Portland Musical Theater Company’s All Hands On Deck, an all-American, all-singing roadshow and radio broadcast reproduction that features classic commercials, tight harmonies, impromptu skits, and 42 of the greatest, most enduring American tunes of all time.
Among the enduring songs highlighted in this patriotic homage to the American way of life are “Sentimental Journey,” “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” “Chattanooga Choo-Choo,” “I’ve Got A Crush On You” and “By The Light Of The Silvery Moon.”
Audience members are encouraged to dress in their favorite 1940s-inspired attire.
