Portland Musical Theater Company seeks theatre designers and technicians to the World Premiere production of Jean and the Wonderful Idea Machine
All roles are Independent Contractors and receive a small stipend ($100-$200 depending on the role’s scope) and 2 complimentary tickets.
Interviews will be conducted by telephone and/or in person.
If you are selected for a position, you’ll also be invited to our First Rehearsal Read Through December 9th at 1pm
Jean and the Wonderful Idea Machine

Jean is a young girl who believes she could invent something that would change worried thoughts to wonderful ideas. Encouraged by a science fair project, Jean invents and builds a wonderful idea machine. Word of this machine reaches the President of the United States and Jean is invited to bring her wonderful idea machine to the world peace summit to help solve all the world problems.
Jean is a wonderful example of a little girl who believes in her ideas and cares about making the world a better place. This world-premiere musical event is about believing in your dreams and making them come true.
Rehearsals Begin on or around December 9th with breaks for the December and January holidays.
Performances are Feb 17 through March 11, 2018
All performances are 1:30pm and 4pm Saturdays and 1:30pm Sundays
Tech runs Feb 10 – Feb 16.
